Our policy is to purchase as much of our food as possible from the local area which, is an endorsement of our Slow Food policy for which, I am a member.

This can come directly from a producer i.e. Matthews Butchers (who supply the traceability of Animal, Breed, Farm or Cothi Valley Goats Cheese or locally supplied Cambrian Mountin Lamb (again through Matthews Butchers) however, these must comply with our traceability requirements but they need not necessarily be Organic.

We support local Farmers Markets, for which I am a Food Ambassador for Mid Wales on behalf of the National Assembly of Wales. I also produced a program with B.B.C. Radio Four on your Farmî highlighting the use of Farmers Markets and working directly with food producers.
