The Lasswade Restaurant

Relax and enjoy the experience of dinning out in Wales in a peaceful location between the Cambrian Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.   Eating out at the Lasswade is a truly memorable occasion.  This fine Restaurant has a warm welcome where you are treated as house guests rather than paying customers.  Roger devotes his time in the Kitchen whilst Emma tends to the dinner guests.

Our award-winning Restaurant is renowned for its use of fresh, local and mostly Organic produce.  With has an impressive Wine list, supplied by Tanners Wines of Shrewsbury.  At the Lasswade, you will find dinning a real slow food experience with attentive service and quality fresh food.  The dinning is informal and relaxed with a smart/casual dress code. 

To begin the evening, why not enjoy a pre-dinner drink which, is brought to you in the comfort of the large drawing room with a real log fire and magnificent views.

We use local, free range and organic produce whenever possible and the menu changes daily.  Dinner consists of a choice of three-courses from £28.00 per person and special diets can be accommodated if requested.   It is advisable to pre-book dinner.
Although the menu changes daily and with the seasons.   A typical dish may consist of homemade smoked haddock fishcakes followed by a rack of herb crusted local mountain lamb accompanied with noisettes of Elan Valley Mutton and to finish, a sauté of hedgerow fruits with Elderflower wine in a filo basket accompanied with organic crème fraiche.
