BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Prices quoted are all inclusive of full breakfast and VAT at 17.5% (service is not included). We reserve the right to alter prices or refuse a booking at any given time without any due reason. No special offers to rates are given however, special voucher/card holders are accepted at the hotels discretion providing we are told at the time of booking otherwise, full room rate applies, (proof of the voucher/card must be presented at reception; failure to do so will result in full room rate charge). Special break prices are a minimum of two nights and must include breakfast and dinner. Winter breaks are offered from November 3 to March 31.

Groups

For parties of more than twelve persons, a discount for accommodation can be given to the Client however, this must be guaranteed with a deposit of £12.00 per person The Client will be issued with one invoice for the group unless advised accordingly at time of booking or in writing. The Client (organiser) should specify in writing (fax, letter or e-maii) or on arrival at reception, how they wish to settle the account and whether any additional expenses are to be included on the invoice or settled by the individual Clients on another account.

 

Guaranteed Reservations and Confirmations

You can guarantee your reservation without confirmation by quoting your credit/debit card number over the telephone  Please note that if you wish to cancel without charge, you must notify us in writing otherwise, the cost of the first night's accommodation will be automatically charged to the cardholders account.

Where dinner applies, it is for three courses (including coffee) but prior booking is requested. Our menu is written daily and we source as much Organic produce where possible although, we are not fully Organic but Pro-Organic.   Any cancellation for a dinner will not be charged to you providing you advise us by telephone/e-mail I/post or fax before the day of your reservation.

Enquiries will be treated as provisional for up to 48 hours.    Bookings will only be secured if credit card details are given or written confirmation (by e-mail, letter or fax) is sent by the Client to us within 7 working days of the original booking, failure to do this will result in cancellation of the Clients booking. The hotel will then acknowledge receipt of your booking by one of the following: telephone, e-mail, lax or letter.

 

Deposits

Deposits of 50% of total room rate (75% during festivals and events) must be paid at time of reservation by either credit card or cheque. During events, the deposit paid will be non-refundable unless, the Hotel can re-let the room.

 

Payments

The Client will settle the account on departure unless prior notice has been given by the Client's Company In writing by letter, e-mail or fax.

The Hotel reserves the right to interest on any overdue account.

The Hotel reserves the right to refuse issuing an invoice to the Client's Company where it is redeemed

Necessary. To which, the Hotel will advise in writing that the Client must settle his/her own account on

Departure.

All major credit cards are accepted by the Hotel

 

Parties/Functions & Meetings

With respect to private parties, meetings/functions, a deposit at time of booking or 7 working days thereafter will be required from the Client. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking should a deposit not be received within this time. The Client will be invoiced immediately after the function and payment must be settled within 28 days of the invoice date.

 

Reduction in numbers

a) Provisional numbers are indicated on the booking form. The Hotel reserves the right to set a number to be charged for the event

b) Any reduction in numbers in the last 20 days before the event will be charged at 50% of the individual rate, unless the minimum number charged is applicable.

 

Cancellations

a) The hotel reserves the right to make the following charges:

Less than 24hrs prior to the event 100% room rate

2 days prior to the event 75% of room rate

3-7 days prior to the event 50% of room rate

1 months prior to the event 30%ofroomrate

2-3 months prior to the event 20% of room rate

(These charges do not apply for Royal Welsh week where there will be no refund and the room rate will

be charged in full)  

b) All cancellations must be in writing by the Client

c) The occasion may arise where we may be required to cancel any booking due to any unforeseen circumstances. Force major, electrical, fire etc.  All deposits would be returned.

 

Non-Arrival Charge

Bedrooms or functions reserved are regarded as being guaranteed bookings and in the case of a non-arrival; a charge will be levied on the Client for one night's accommodation, unless notified.

 

Damage

a) The Client is responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings, equipment therein or to the Hotel generally by any act, default or neglect of the Client, subcontractor or guests of the client and shall pay to the Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy damage.

b) The Hotel cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or liability to the Client, properly, persons, whilst on the hotel premises. This includes Cars parked on the properly.

c) Dogs are welcome to use our kennels at no charge but please provide bedding and food. Dogs must not be allowed in the house at anytime and it is the Clients responsibility to have their dogs on leads at any time in the Garden area. Any damage caused by the Clients Pet will have to be paid for on demand.

 

Corkage

The bringing of wines or spirits onto the hotel premises for guests consumption is not permitted unless by prior arrangement if you are found to do so then, you will be subject to a corkage charge at the hotels
